Carla’s professional journey started out with the completion of a Master’s degree in Biochemistry. She spent some time in the clinical pathology space and then went on to gain invaluable business experience within the analytical laboratory instrumentation industry.

In addition to loving science, she has always had a passion for aesthetics and people. Carla decided to combine her two passions into something where they complemented one another, and completed her Permanent Cosmetic Certification through an internationally certified master trainer. Following her initial certification she completed several masterclasses and passed her ITEC Level 4 Certification in Micro-Pigmentation Treatment, an advanced internationally recognised qualification in permanent makeup, with distinction. Her scientific background helps her tremendously to grasp the principles and practices of permanent make-up and to have a good understanding of the chemical relationships between a customer’s skin and the planned procedure.

Carla is highly meticulous, methodical and detail orientated in her work and always strives to give clients the best possible experience. Her aim is to achieve results that are natural looking and match the customer’s goals as closely as possible. She remains dedicated to growing her knowledge and skills as the technology and treatments develop.
